On delivery, the propshaft grease nipples were covered in paint. This was removed and the joints were verified as being pre-filled with grease (despite a label on the propshaft saying the contrary). Spline grease was added to the propshaft splines and a smear of grease around the coupling surface on the gearbox.
Based on the experience of others, I was expecting the propshaft was going to be difficult to pass through the chassis uprights in the transmission tunnel - however, the chassis rails had had depressions stamped in which allowed the universal joint to pass through very easily.
Looking at the video, you may be able to see the modification to the chassis rails (bowed) which made the process of getting the universal joint through the tunnel very easy.
