The lovely black and silver Bonnet Badge is to be fitted to the Nosecone. Whilst there are two holes pre-drilled in the Nosecone to receive the badge, the locating pins on the reverse of the badge had been removed by Caterham. I learnt that this is because it's difficult to ensure the central Bonnet stripe is exactly centred on the locating holes. I could therefore only use the pre-drilled holes as rough location and focussed on ensuring the Badge was central to the stripe. Masking tape was used to align and mark the location of the edges of the badge. The backing paper was removed from the self-adhesive pad and the Badge pressed into position.
